Series Finale, Excellent read

The final book in a wonderful series. When I began reading the Unbounded series, I thought it was quirky and unique, but just one book in I was hooked. This book moves quickly taking a few twists and turns along the way. It is helpful if you have read not only the novels, but the novellas as well. Erin and Ritter are still the center of the action, but Mari, Keene and the others are also shown at their best. I found this to be better than the previous book, and the novellas really helped set the stage. The climax is exciting, daunting and haunting. While I hope that there will indeed be more novellas to partner with this series, Ms. Branton has really taken the Renegades to a new level and ended the story with style.

Awesome last book in the series!

I have read every book in this series and could hardly wait for this final book to be released! It did not dissapoint! The characters in this book have a way of drawing you in. Their love and loyalty to each other makes you want to develop those kinds of friendships in your own life. Their willingness to risk their lives to protect the entire human race is amazing. I would recommend this whole series however each book can be read without reading the ones before it. Another great book Teyla!

I picked up the Book 1 of these series through a recommendation. The story is so well developed and the character so details, that it just sucks you in. I ended up getting and reading ALL 5 books in the series! Highly recommend you start with book 1, since they are linked and the story continues as you go through each book. Full of surprises, well developed characters and a very intriguing story. Well worth your time and investment. I truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it

For a newbie to the truck world it did contain a lot of good information, especially about towing. That said, they should really start working on a second edition of this book. My complaints primarily are with the editing. There were some chapters where I'd swear I read the same paragraph twice. There were smatterings of grammatical and punctuation mistakes as well. I really enjoy watching Mr. Truck and the TFL guys' videos, but I expected something a bit more polished from professional journalists.

Good, entertaining read. Not much more information then you get following their website, still a way to put all that expertise in one place and support the work they do on the website. The videos on the website are full of facts and demonstrations.

Whew! Lots of words. Capleton says what he has to say in every possible way he can think to. Lot's of gems in here - it's just somewhat of an effort to extract them. There's something not right about the publisher, too - there's no index for this book, instead there's a glossary, which, yet again, defines terms defined elsewhere in the text. A good thorough index could make this a useable reference. There are apparently 2 versions of this book and the older of the 2 is more expensive - but you can't really sort it all out because there's no colophon page! What kind of book has no colophon?

Steven Bingen is a historian, screenwriter, and former archivist at Warner Bros. Originally a native of Seattle, Bingen has written and contributed to dozens of books, articles, and documentaries on Hollywood history. He coauthored MGM: Hollywood’s Greatest Backlot, the first significant book ever published about a movie studio lot. He lives in the world’s largest backlot, also known as Los Angeles.

I really enjoyed this book. The photos, and other images, are crystal clear and the text is very informative. Not as comprehensive as the "MGM Backlot" book, (what is!) but in its own way, an equal. A great addition to my film book library.

PRICELESS WB STUDIO HISTORY

Steven Bingen who co-wrote the highly praised and exhaustive study MGM: HOLLYWOOD'S GREATEST BACKLOT a few years ago has come up with another superb studio history. This one is done in quite a different design than the previous volume but that doesn't inhibit any of the invaluable information and archival photos that make this publication a significant addition to film history. Warner Bros. and in particular its Burbank headquarters has always been one of the iconic studios but most of us mainly remember it from those awe inspiring aerial shots of the WB production plant when the company was introducing its famous television shows back in the early sixties. Now with this book we get a chance to venture into the studio and learn all about "Hollywood's Ultimate Backlot". An added bonus is the listing (as complete as possible) of the backlot locations where the various WB films and television programs were shot. A wonderful read of fascinating film and social history, loaded with priceless photos and maps.
Hopefully the author has got his sights on more studio histories e.g. Universal City, Paramount and 20th. Century Fox.

The Last Great Backlot History!

Having had a chance to tour the lot in the late 70's because my relative leased editing equipment to the major studios I was fascinated with the history of it all. It is truly the last true movie back lot left. MGM's was sold off during the start of the Kerkorian reign (what a loss) and Twentieth Century Fox's was lost. So much cinematic history remains at Warner's lot. If you are a big movie buff this book is just a treasure trove of interesting facts and photos.

Nice variety of songs, most copyright 2010 or later. As a piano teacher, I'd consider this as late-beginner; most pieces in key of C,G,F, D or Bb; 2 staff with melody in right hand; guitar chords included.

I like that it is easier to play music

I like that it is easier to play music, but some songs I played with the youtube video of the actual song and it sounded weird? It was only a few. Most of them were amazing! and I'm sure it is the musician, not the arrangement that sounds weird! (meaning me) thank you!

A must read...

There are not enough stars on this page to rate this book by James Jordan high enough. I've never met anyone who had the perfect father...and that's not to condemn fathers, but to speak truth. There are no perfect fathers, because there are no perfect fathers to train their young men to be fathers...or to love their daughters in a way that will ensure they marry good men who will become good fathers. The lack of a father...and earthly father...leaves a gaping hole in our hearts that can only be filled by one Person. In this book, James Jordan introduces us to him in a way that draws us into a wonderful relationship. And James' writing style is simple, yet it touches places in our soul. Again, I cannot recommend this book enough. Get it, read it, feel it...and then pass it along to someone else. Thank you, James, for your heart for the Father...and for his children...

An amazing resource!

James Jordan's new book entitled 'Sonship' is a helpful resource for those who are interested in growing in their relationship with their Heavenly Father. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down until I read it cover to cover. I highly recommend it and I believe that those who read it with an open heart will discover many wonderful nuggets of biblically based revelation that will encourage them to go deeper into the Fatherheart of God. I believe this book will be a huge blessing to all who read it.
